Sometimes, expecting a newborn might be overwhelming. To help you understand more about the process of engaging a confinement nanny, here are some common questions that other families had as well.
If you have more questions, simply call us or drop us a text message and we will be more than happy to support you with a 1-1 consultation! We understand every family is unique.
A confinement nanny can be a godsent to the family in the challenging first month, helping to support both the mummy and baby. This is true for both first-time mother easing into motherhood, or experienced mothers handling >1 child.
How a confinement nanny can help Mummies:

- Prepare nutritious meals meant to nourish, rejuvenate and revitalise mummies' post-partum bodies, to boost recovery
- Ensure mummies receive sufficient rest, to accelerate recovery
- Motherly companionship, during challenging times
How a confinement nanny can help Babies:

Our nannies are seasoned service providers with many years of experience under their belt. Most of them are mothers or even grandmothers themselves! All nannies are vetted by Confinement Mama and our trainer.
We drive for continuous improvement for our nannies, with regular in-depth feedback from our clients and refresher courses conducted by our trainer.
We highly recommend that you book your nannies min. 4-5 months in advance before your Estimated Delivery Date (EDD). This is so that you can have a peace-of-mind and make other necessary arrangements to welcome your newborn.
We are committed to match a nanny based on your requirements to ensure optimal suitability. As our nannies have rather packed bookings, we are currently unable to support nanny selection. However, in the rare event that you find your assigned nanny to be unsuitable, we will support with a fuss-free replacement policy.
We fully understand that each family will have its own unique set of needs and expectations. As such, we highly encourage you to specify any special requests during the booking process. We will select the most suitable nanny based on your requirements.
However, in the event where our nanny falls short of your expectations, we will provide up to 2 free replacements of nanny (may take up to 7 days).
A deposit is required to secure your booking. We welcome payments to be made by Paynow, iBanking, or ATM transfer. For the remaining balance, it will be paid in cash directly to the nanny on the last day of her service.
